Try to get past it

Every student
thinks they can
beat the filter.

So we let one try. VPNs. Proxies. Unblocked-games sites. AI chatbots. Incognito. Watch what happens when they scroll.

01
Attempt · The VPN

“I’ll just install a VPN.”

The oldest trick. Tunnel the traffic, hide the destination, and the school filter goes blind. Works on GoGuardian. Works on Securly.

Blocked by KyberGate
VPN traffic detected

KyberGate inspects the full HTTPS handshake at the proxy — not just DNS. 60+ VPN signatures and encrypted-tunnel fingerprints are flagged before the first packet lands. The tunnel never opens.

02
Attempt · Unblocked Games

“unblocked-games-66.github.io”

A fresh domain spun up this morning. No blocklist has it yet. The classic filter waves it right through — it’s not on the list.

Blocked by KyberGate
Game content classified in real time

KyberGate doesn’t rely on a list. An 8-layer detection engine reads the page itself — iframes, canvas, WebGL, game keywords, embedded players — and blocks brand-new game sites the moment they load. The list can’t keep up. The engine doesn’t need one.

03
Attempt · The Web Proxy

“I’ll route through a proxy site.”

Load a proxy front-end, type the blocked URL, and let someone else’s server fetch it. The real destination stays hidden inside an encrypted session.

Blocked by KyberGate
Proxy pattern + SSL inspection

Full SSL inspection means KyberGate sees the destination inside the encrypted session — not the proxy wrapper. Known proxy front-ends and dynamic proxy behavior are caught at layer 7. There’s nowhere to hide the real request.

04
Attempt · The AI Chatbot

“I’ll ask the AI to do it for me.”

Skip the blocked site entirely — ask ChatGPT for the answers, the essay, the workaround. No filter even thinks to look here.

Blocked by KyberGate
AI usage seen — and shaped

KyberGate sees ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini sessions in the clear. Schools choose: block, allow, or monitor with prompts logged for the teacher. AI isn’t a blind spot — it’s a policy you control.

05
Attempt · Incognito

“Incognito mode. No history, no trace.”

Private browsing means nothing gets saved locally. Surely that’s invisible to the school, right?

Blocked by KyberGate
Filtering happens at the network, not the browser

Incognito only clears local history. Every request still crosses the KyberGate proxy — inspected, filtered, and logged the same as any other. Private mode hides the trace on the device, never on the wire.

Experiment complete

There is
no bypass.

Every other filter plays whack-a-mole with a blocklist. KyberGate reads the traffic itself — full SSL inspection, real-time classification, one proxy every request must cross. The workaround economy doesn’t work here.
